The organisation and management of the Institute
is through departmentation of activities based on various areas of specialization
and functions.
The Academic, Scientific and Clinical services are organized under the
Departments of Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Biostatistics, Cardiorespiratory
Physiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Research Centre (housing Outdoor/Indoor
patient care services), Medical Mycology, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology,
Physiology, Radiodiagnosis and Imaging, Respiratory Allergy and Applied
Immunology and Respiratory Medicine, Respiratory Virology and Thoracic
Surgery. These department are headed by the Faculty members in the concerned
area.
The General and Personnel Management including various maintenance activities
required for the Institute are supported by administrative services of
the Institute which are available through following three sections:

Chart), controlled by the Deputy Registrar who reports to the
Director.
The Institute also has a Standing Finance Committee constituted by the Governing
Body to make recommendations about its budgetary requirements. |
