| The activities of the Department of Pathology
include providing investigative service of Clinical Research Centre, teaching
and research.
Diagnostic investigations
The pathology laboratory of the Department located in CRC provides facility
for investigations like blood, urine, stool, nasal smear for eosinophils.
Recently a computerised haemotology analysis counter was purchased to
facilitate blood investigations. On an average, more than 20,000 specimens
are investigated annually. Special investigations being done include cyto
and histopathology
